YUCAIPA (CBSLA.com) — Police on Friday are seeking detailsinquiring on the motorist of a car seen on security video striking a Yucaipa male and speeding away from the scene.

Around 10 p.m, on Thursday night, 34-year-old Cesar Flores was strolling with his spouse when he was struck from behind by an unknown automobile on the 33900 Block of Opportunity E in Yucaipa. The suspects automobile continued driving along Avenue E after the crash and appeared not to decrease, police stated.

Yucaipa Authorities Department officers found Flores resting on the dirt shoulder on the side of Avenue E with his wife attempting to render aid. Flores had significant injuries to his head and legs. He was was carried to Redlands Neighborhood Hospital, where he was later on noticable dead.

Authorities have security video footage of the hit-and-run but have henceso far just determined the vehicle as a late-model, light-colored passenger automobile. The automobile would have damage to its front, ride side from the crash. The San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department is examining.
